1. Introduction AwareAround ("we," "us," or "our") values the privacy of our operators. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the AwareAround mobile application (the "Service").

2. Zero-Knowledge Architecture We operate on a strict "Privacy First" philosophy. We do not require user accounts, login credentials, or personal identification. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.

3. Location Data (GPS)

• How we use it: The Service requires access to your device's location services to provide core functionality: Situational Reports (SITREP), Reconnaissance Mapping (RECON), and Advisor guidance.
• Processing: Your precise location data is processed locally on your device or sent ephemerally to our third-party intelligence providers (OpenAI, Apple Maps) strictly for the purpose of generating immediate assessments.
• Storage: We do not store your GPS history or movement logs on our servers. Once a session is closed, the data is discarded.

4. Third-Party Services We utilize the following trusted third-party services to deliver intelligence:

• Apple Maps (MapKit): Used to display the tactical map and identify infrastructure. (Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy).
• OpenAI API: Used to generate situational text assessments. Data sent to OpenAI is not used to train their models under our API usage agreement.

5. California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) We comply with CalOPPA. We agree to the following:

• Users can visit our app anonymously.
• Our Privacy Policy link is easily accessible within the application.
• Users will be notified of any privacy policy changes on this page.

6. Children’s Privacy We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent and believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us for immediate deletion.
